Bathroom and shower remodeling in Lansing.

Walk-in showers, walk-in tubs and accessible bathrooms across Lansing and Mid-Michigan. We are a Michigan company. The people who quote your bathroom are the people who build it, and we know what sits behind the walls in Lansing homes because we have opened a great many of them.

Lansing housing stock

What we expect to find in your bathroom.

This is not a template with a city name dropped into it. It is what the housing stock here is genuinely built from, and how that changes the work.

Postwar ranches, single level

A great deal of the Lansing area is 1950s through 1970s single-storey housing, which is the best possible starting point for accessible bathing. There is no staircase between the front door and the bathroom, so making the shower itself barrier-free genuinely makes the house work for someone with limited mobility.

Slab-on-grade changes the drain conversation

Where a house is built on a slab rather than over a crawl space or basement, moving a drain means cutting concrete. That is a real job, not a small one. We can usually design around it by keeping the drain where it is, and we will tell you which situation you are in before you sign anything.

Original 1960s fibreglass units

The one-piece fibreglass tub-and-surround units from this era are now well past their service life. They flex underfoot, they craze, and the flex is usually what has been letting water into the subfloor. When one comes out we expect to look closely at the floor underneath it.

How we work

Quality. Precision. Built to last.

Three commitments that decide whether a bathroom still performs in year fifteen or begins failing quietly behind the wall in year three.

Quality

Solid surface wall systems with the color running through the full thickness, bases set in a full mortar bed, corrosion-resistant hardware throughout. A shower specified down to a price is a shower you buy twice.

Precision

Bases set dead level and pitched to the drain. Panel seams cut to the wall rather than closed with caulk. Grab bars anchored into structural blocking. Precision is invisible by definition, which is exactly why it is the first thing a cheaper crew gives up.

Built to last

Water finds every shortcut eventually. We waterproof behind the surface and detail the corners properly, so the wall cavity is still dry long after the day we hand the room over.
